Imaginal Experiences

This is a page describing pivotal imaginal experiences I have had over the years.  Much like a blog, more experiences will be added as there is time to write them up.

The Omniverse Center for Cultural Development describes how in 1974, while riding a bicycle home from my work at the Stanford Research Institute, I was escorted on an inner plane of consciousness to something I was told I might call “The Omniverse Center for Cultural Development—an intellectual oasis for evolutionary operatives.” It also tells how I later took some of my SRI research colleagues there as well, in order to solve a pressing futures research problem that we were not able to resolve using ordinary rational/analytic methods.  An abridged version of the story is included as Chapter 10, “Visiting the Omniverse Center: A Mind Transforming Akashic Experience,” in The Akashic Experience: Science and the Cosmic Memory Field, edited by Ervin Laszlo (2009).
